I must give the government credit though, there is now a certain percentage of women involved in politics now. It cannot be blamed that men dominante the government board, I think alot of it has to do with women not stepping out to the role as well
lol I don't think it's the government that's 'allowed' women to be involved in politics. Anyway this isn't about blaming men, it's about how some men don't realize their own privilege.
previously, the idea of women in politics was unfathomable. WOmen were expected to stay at home and make tea. So yeah, I would say today, women are 'allowed' to be in politics
What I mean is, I don't think it's the government's efforts that made it happen. And god, 'allowed' just makes the government sound like some benevolent figure who's condescended to let women think they have a fighting chance at equality ==, instead of it being the result of a decades-long movement * definitely outside* the government. Since the government are our Leaders, you'd think if they were the ones heralding the feminist movement, we'd have gone a much longer way by now. Politics is still a very male-dominated area.
lol.. y are the face squarish??
ReplyDeletehaha. TO THE POINT!
